A few weeks ago I did a post on the Just Between Friends Sale and talked about being a consignor and what fun it has been for me to participate in the seasonal sales since I found them here in the San Diego area right after our son Riley was born. Today I am going to share with you some of my favorite bargain finds from these sales and why you should go to the next sale nearest to you if you can.
I think the biggest bargain would have to be a brand new high chair for $25. We are still using it and Riley loves this thing…It is a Fisher Price Easy Fold High Chair in the Ocean Theme which isn’t available anymore but he loves it, it is easy to clean, store, move and it has grown with him. He now even puts his favorite guy Elmo in it to feed him when he is doing pretend play, so cute!
Another great bargain was his toddler bed which I don’t have a photo of yet because he isn’t in the toddler bed yet (shush, don’t tell Riley but he hasn’t figured out that he can climb out of his crib yet!) Anyway, it is one of those car beds he is going to be so excited when he finally gets into it! If we had bought it new it would have been $380, we got it at the Just Between Friends Sale for $75!
At the last sale I found a little toddler wooden table and chairs set that he uses everyday to play on…it is well made, sturdy, real wood and it was only $20!
At the first sale I went to I found this great organizer for $20 and it has gone through several transitions of what it has held…first it was bottles, baby formula and his medical equipment along with some other stuff from our kitchen and dining area. Next it held his baby clothes, diapers, and a few toys when it first made the transition to his room and now you can see it holds toys, toys and more toys!
These are just a few of the great bargains I have gotten at these sales. You can get all sorts of deals on clothes, toys, baby gear, books, shoes, almost anything having to do with kids that you can think of…every sale is different and each time I find something new that I have never seen before. These sales really have saved us a great deal of money on all sorts of gear and clothing. They have franchises all over the country so you should see if there is one near you that you can check out. The next sale in San Diego is coming up on Sept. 3-5, 2015 at the Jacobs Center….look for me there!
